Converse Skateboarding Fall/Winter 2019

Converse Skateboarding has revealed some of the upcoming kicks of their Fall/Winter 2019 collection. And there is something for the entire family. The iconic American shoe company has released (will release) classic models done in their timeless aesthetic. Let’s get a quick rundown of what the brand has to offer.

The Converse Board Star SK OX is shown in two different colorways consisting of Orange and Black. Each pair opts for a tonal finish as not only does the canvas come in each corresponding color,  but so do the laces, lining, most of the branding and eyelets.

This pair is constructed out of a 16 oz canvas on the upper and also comes with a vulcanized sole unit that’s stamped with “motion” Converse branding. These two pairs are also available in kids sizes. They are available now for ¥7000 (approximately $65 USD) and ¥5000 ($46 USD) respectively.

The Converse CX-PRO SK HC OX comes in your choice of Light Beige of Navy. A canvas construction also appears to be in play, while contrast is made by way of the White leather hits noted on the size panel branding. Even more White is spotted on the lining, laces, tongue tag, rubber toe, stitching and vulcanized midsole. These drop in July for ¥8000 (approximately $75 USD)

The Converse PRORIDE SK CV OX also comes in a canvas upper done in your choice of Purple or Green. What makes these stand out are the Black hits placed on the toe and tongue to create a nice and crisp contrast. White leather hits appear on the side panels and heel, while the Black laces and vulcanized sole complete the theme.

The Converse CITYRIDE SK SLIP-ON comes in your choice of a Black or Red canvas upper offset by the White on the stitching and rubber toe. Branding hits are spotted midfoot and ankle collar while the White rubber sole completes the theme of the shoe. These drop in September  for ¥6500.

The Converse BREAKSTAR SK HI is constructed out of a canvas and suede upper done in both Olive and Black. Metal eyelets, leather hits on the branding, tonal laces and rubber toes and sole complete the look of these two. These drop in September for ¥8500.

The Converse KID’S CX-PRO SK V-2 MID are for the tiny-footers in your life. This iteration of the model ditches the laces in favor of a double velcro strap lacing system placed on the Light Beige and Navy upper. Rubber toes and sole as well as leather hits on the branding are all part of the shoe’s design. Look for these to drop July of 2019.
